Directions
First step: Get the pecans ready.
Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C) before using it. Place groups of four pecan halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Each group should look like a turtle with four legs. This step makes sure that the pecans are spread out evenly and prepared to support the caramel and chocolate.
Step 2: Heat the caramel candies until they become liquid.
Put the caramels in a bowl that can be used in the microwave. Heat the caramels in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring each time, until they are completely melted and smooth. With a spoon, put a small amount of melted caramel in the middle of each group of pecans. Make sure the caramel spreads a bit to keep the pecans together. Allow the pecans with caramel on top to rest until the caramel becomes hard, which usually takes around 10-15 minutes.

Step 3: Heat the chocolate until it becomes liquid.
While the caramel is hardening, heat the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a bowl that can be used in the microwave. Heat the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until it is completely melted and smooth. Use a spoon or a pastry bag to pour or place the melted chocolate on top of each cluster of caramel and pecans, making sure the caramel is completely covered. Allow the candies with chocolate on top to sit at room temperature or put them in the fridge until the chocolate becomes completely hard.
Step 4: Serve and Keep
Once the chocolate has hardened, take the candies off the parchment paper or silicone mat. Enjoy right away or keep in a sealed container at room temperature or in the fridge for up to two weeks. These sweets are great for sharing with loved ones or enjoying as a special snack.
