I tried this at a party for the bride and loved it so much that I had to get the recipe!

Heat the oven before using. Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C) before using. Put oil or butter on a baking dish that measures 9 by 13 inches.

Get the onions ready: Cut onions into rings that are 1/4 inch thick. Put in a baking dish that has been prepared.

Prepare cheese sauce: Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a medium-sized bowl. Mix well.

Prepare the meal: Pour the cheese mixture over the onion rings in the baking dish.

Put toppings on it. Combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Put the onion and cheese mixture on top.

Cook in the oven. Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until onions are tender and cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Add decoration and serve. If you want, add some chopped parsley on top. Serve the food hot.
