Tangerines taste better than freshly picked ones
Find a large, clean glass bottle with a tight-sealing lid. Ensure it’s thoroughly cleaned and dry.
Prep the Mandarins:
Peel the mandarins and divide them into segments. You can remove as much of the white pith as possible, as it can add bitterness.
Bottle the Mandarins:
Carefully place the mandarin segments into the bottle. Fill it up but avoid overpacking to prevent squishing them.
Seal and Store:
Once your bottle is filled with mandarin segments, seal it tightly with the lid.
Store the sealed bottle in a cool, dark place, like a pantry or cupboard, away from direct sunlight and fluctuating temperatures.
